Snap\®/LOCK Coupling benefits

Reliability , Longevity and Fail-Safe action are mechanically guaranteed by this design. For instance:

Energy losses and heat are reduced, because the SNAP/ \LOCK accommodates large changes in parallel, angular and axial misalignment without any structural deformation, unlike geared spools or elastomer and metallic spring elements which rely on deformation.

The continuous minute partial rotations of the locking members continually present new contact surfaces to the loads, rather than continuously stressing the same surface areas, as in conventional couplings.

These minute movements between the locking members also harden the working areas.

Axial range is virtually unlimited and is dependent on the mechanical length available, so thrust loads cannot be transmitted.

No fasteners or special lubrication are required, nullifying any adjustments or periodic maintenance.

All steel construction allows a wide temperature range environment, and the self compensating feature maintains zero backlash.
